Rare original poster "A Tous les Français", 2nd edition Printed for General De Gaulle by J. I, made in London, published in the Times on August 5, 1940, translated in English, the poster having been posted in London two days earlier.

The text of this poster was also published in the 1st and only issue of the official bulletin of the Free French Forces dated August 15, 1940 with the note: "Text of the poster which was plastered on the walls in England". There are several typographical errors and the absence of certain accents and a cedilla. General de Gaulle refused to validate this poster for these reasons. Tricolor frame with inverted color of the "English" type, blue band on the outside.

75.5 x 50.5 cm (29.75" x 19 7/8"). 10,000 copies were printed of this 2nd edition poster by Weiner Ltd in November or December 1940.
