Hello and welcome to splendid specimens. Now these two are just exquisite. 1780s French, solid bronze statue of grand elegance and luxury.

These were privately owned for the past 40 years and are a true rarity in the antique market. They are standalone statues but I personally love them linking arms, back to back.

The Pear would've been right at home in a French Château or Castle. The torso is 20 cm around and the shoulders are 11 cm across. The base is approximately 10 cm. I have such a passion for fine art and antiques, especially the exquisite craftsmanship of French pieces from this period.

These two candelabras are so old that they were around in the same time as Marie Antoinette, Queen of France. These have been in Tasmania for a minimum of 50 years and is a mystery how they ended up on the other side of the world.

The attention to detail is mind blowing. From the delicate features of their face and hair to the Horns that they are holding.

They do take two candles and they are in their original condition. Quite often people polish off the Pateena that has taken hundreds of years to naturally form. I personally find them very beautiful with the tones of turquoise from the bronze. They take an approximate 2 cm candle. There is something beautiful about having something so old in your home.

A true work of art and a pair is rarely found. With deceased estates quite often people will both want an item and end up with one Each instead of a pair. These are actually made to face back on to each other on a dining table. A lot of people have seen them in my home ask why they are not holding the horns in opposite hands, now you know.

These are unmarked and it is typical that they would have been custom-made for a grand Homestead. There is no damage at all, they really are just perfect. These will be packed with the upmost love and respect as I believe it is our job to take care of history and make sure it has a safe and caring home. I really really love these two and I hope that they bring you as much joy as they have brought me.
