Very RARE ANTIQUE STAFFORDSHIRE HARLEQUIN FIGURE 19TH Circa 1890 BY THOMAS PARR
7.3ins high, 3.1ins wide, 2.3ins depth. Kent Staffordshire figure with a theatrical and literary theme which features a harlequin holding his wooden sword, stood on a circular base. A very rare antique Staffordshire figure of a Harlequin recorded as made by Thomas Parr and is dressed in close-fitting suit of bright silk diamonds, his left hand raised to his head and his right hand on his waist holding a wand. The figure is well coloured and detailed and is not marked. See Staffordshire Portrait Figures of the Victorian era by P.
