The Rochester Trust & Safe Deposit Company of Rochester, New York published a small (3 x 5 inch)promotional book titled Homespun Essays - Everyday Thoughts About Everyday Life. Printed on hand-made paper and illustrated with fine quality, tipped halftone photographs printed on Japanese Vellum. Included in these 12 small tissue protected plates are 7 photographs by the American Photo-Secession founder member Clarence H. White and 1 by Gertrude Käsebier.

Also included are 4 additional fine photographs showing off the banks amenities. The book also features some "Homespun Essays" after each of the White and Käsebier photographs ranging from the topics of happiness and patience to the value of having friends.
